It’s the beginning of the month, it’s the beginning of the year and it’s the right time to talk about Veganuary, the trend that wants you to turn vegan for January to detox your body right after the holiday food excess and keep up this good habit for the rest of the year. Before you start, stock up on vegan alternatives to food you are used to, e.g. egg-free pasta, soya desserts and almond drinks. Also, put in your bag a fruit, a bar of dark chocolate and a sachet with dry nuts, so you will always have something vegan to eat wherever you happen to be. And every time you feel “weak”, remind to yourself the reason why you started this “trip”, either this is detoxing your body or this is a pic you found on the web depicting some force-fed geese for the production of foie gras.
