Hasselback potatoes recipe

3 potatoes
4 cloves garlic
150 gr butter
olive oil
5 sprigs fresh rosemary
5 sprigs mint
coarse salt
Freshly grounded pepper

Wash the potatoes thoroughly with a sponge , but do not peel them . Never use dishwashing soap for potatoes. Just water. Cut the potatoes into thin slices. The thinner the better. Do not cut all the way down but leave the bottom so the slices stay together. Put the potatoes in a greased baking dish.

In a skillet saute the thinly sliced ​​garlic in oil. Remove from heat and add the butter to melt. Add salt and pepper to the hot mixture. Pour over potatoes and make sure it goes everywhere between the slices.

Finely chop the herbs and put them within the slice. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake in preheated oven at 230°C for 45 minutes. Remove foil at the last 10 minutes to get the desired golden color.Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset
