Homemade bagels for me was a big challenge! The idea of boiling dough before cooking it always intrigued me and of course createa the best dish for the brunch table.

Bagel with avocado and salmon: (For 2 bagels)
  • 2 bagels
  • 4 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 80 gr salmon
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 tomato, sliced
  • 1 handful arugula
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • salt
  • freshly ground pepper
Bagel prosciutto and caramelized onion: (For 2 bagels)
  • 2 bagels
  • 80 gr ginger, in small slices
  • 4 slices prosciutto
  • 3 tablespoon caramelized onion
  • 40 gr blue cheese (optional)


Bagel with avocado and salmon:
  • Place in a bowl arugula, drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, add salt and pepper and mix well.
  • Cut the bagel in the middle.
  • Cover them with cream cheese and add the remaining ingredients.
  • Serve immediately.
Bagel with prosciutto and caramelized onion:
  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  • Cut the bagels in the middle.
  • Cover with gruyere and bake in preheated oven until the cheese melts.
  • Take them out of the oven, add the rest of the ingredients, close and serve.
