Best way to serve this cake is with fresh strawberry sauce.
Ingredients
3 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sesame oil
1 shot of cognac
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 vanilla
1 pinch salt
zest of 2 oranges
3/4 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 teaspoons baking powder
Beat oil and sugar until combined. Add vinegar, brandy, salt, vanilla, orange zest, half of the orange juice, cocoa and stir.
Put the baking soda in the rest of the orange juice and add to the mixture. Stir gently.
Add baking powder to the flour and pour in the mixture. Mix gently and pour in a buttered and floured baking pan.
Bake for 40 minutes at 175 °C.
