  • 1/2 cup. butter

  • 3/4 cup. sugar

  • 2 vanilla

  • 1 egg

  • 1 3/4 cups. flour
  • ,

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • ,

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • ,

  • 30 g. chocolate
  • ,

  • 1 tbsp milk

Directions

    ,

  • Melt the chocolate in double boiler and let it stand aside to cool down.
  • ,

  • Beat butter with sugar and vanilla until white and fluffy, then add one egg.
  • ,

  • In a bowl mix the flour, salt and baking powder. 
  • ,

  • Add it to the first mixture and mix well until all ingredients are combined into one dough. 
  • ,

  • Divide the dough into two equal parts.
  • ,

  • Add chocolate to one of them and stir well so to give it a nice chocolate color.
  • ,

  • Get the first piece of dough and use a rolling pin to roll it out on a baking sheet.
  • ,

  • Do the same with the chocolate dough.
  • ,

  • Then spread a little milk using a brush over the white dough and carefully place the chocolate dough on top.
  • ,

  • Form a rectangle and cut the dough pieces that are left over the edges.
  • ,

  • Wrap now the rectangle and let it rest for a few hours in the refrigerator
  • ,

  • On a piece of parchment paper put the rest of the dough and wrap it well giving it a cylindrical shape and let it rest for a few hours in the refrigerator.
  • ,

  • Take the rolls out of the refrigerator and cut the cookies about 1 cm thick.
  • ,

  • Place them on a baking pan lined with parchment paper and bake in preheated oven at 190 for 8′-10′.
