- 1/2 cup. butter
- 3/4 cup. sugar
- 2 vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 3/4 cups. flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 30 g. chocolate
- 1 tbsp milk

Directions

- Melt the chocolate in double boiler and let it stand aside to cool down.
- Beat butter with sugar and vanilla until white and fluffy, then add one egg.
- In a bowl mix the flour, salt and baking powder.
- Add it to the first mixture and mix well until all ingredients are combined into one dough.
- Divide the dough into two equal parts.
- Add chocolate to one of them and stir well so to give it a nice chocolate color.
- Get the first piece of dough and use a rolling pin to roll it out on a baking sheet.
- Do the same with the chocolate dough.
- Then spread a little milk using a brush over the white dough and carefully place the chocolate dough on top.
- Form a rectangle and cut the dough pieces that are left over the edges.
- Wrap now the rectangle and let it rest for a few hours in the refrigerator
- On a piece of parchment paper put the rest of the dough and wrap it well giving it a cylindrical shape and let it rest for a few hours in the refrigerator.
- Take the rolls out of the refrigerator and cut the cookies about 1 cm thick.
- Place them on a baking pan lined with parchment paper and bake in preheated oven at 190 for 8′-10′.
