Satisfy your sweet tooth with the absolut winter fruit! I love apples since I can remember myself! This recipe is a very easy version of the old traditional apple crumble! It only needs 10 minutes to prepare plus baking time.
Ingredients
1kg apples
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
A handful of raisins
For the crumble:
175g butter
1 cup flour, all -purpose
2 tsp cinnamon
110 g brown sugar
1 cup raw almonds
Directions
Preheat oven to 180°C . Grease well an ovenproof dish. Peel and cut apples into thick slices. Place them in a large bowl along with the sugar , cinnamon and raisins, and mix well. Place them in an ovenproof dish .
Place the butter (at room temperature), the sugar, the flour and the cinnamon in the mixer and beat up to make a dought that resembles to bread crumbs. Finally add one cup of almonds.
Place the crumble mixture over the apples, and squeeze with your hands to go everywhere .
Bake for 35-40 minutes at 180°C. Let it cool before cut into pieces and serve. I was not patience enough to wait and this explains the look of my piece…
