Easy and delicious recipe for savory pie with sweet frumenty without phyllo dough.

  • 220 g. sweet frumenty

  • 2 medium potatoes cooked (not peeled) and melted with a fork (not mashed)

  • 130 g. feta cheese
  • ,
  • 600 g. whole or goat milk (depending on frumenty may need additional milk)

  • 2 eggs
  • ,
  • 80 g. oil
  • ,
  • lemon zest (1 lemon)
  • ,
  • 2 sticks fresh rosemary (chopped)
  • ,
  • (additional salt depending on cheese)

  • Preheat oven to 180ºC.

  • In a bowl mix well with hands all the ingredients. We want it to be something between sour cream and yogurt.

  • Butter a pan 25x35 cm.
  • ,
  • Pour the mixture in pan.
  • ,
  • Bake for 50 minutes. The pie is ready when browns off full the surface.

  • Serve warm.
