Back in the middle of August I was lucky to be in the same table with Mr Kostas, the father of my best friend who happens to be a butcher and a strong foodie. He knows my love for figs and so he gave me the idea of this recipe! He kinda asked me to try it first and post it! So here I am!



Ingredients

(to make 3 pies)
    ,
  • 6 sheets of phyllo dough
  • ,
  • 300 g feta cheese crumbled
  • ,
  • 100g ricotta crumbled
  • ,
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt
  • ,
  • 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco
  • ,
  • 6 fresh figs

Instructions

    ,
  • Put two sheets of phyllo dough one on top of the other and grease slightly with extra virgin olive oil using a brush.
  • ,
  • Mix the two types of cheese with the yoghurt and tabasco in a bowl
  • ,
  • Create a square with cheese filling on the phyllo dough.
  • ,
  • Arrange two figs cut into slices (3 slices each) on top of the cheese filling
  • ,
  • Close the cheese pie into squares.
  • ,
  • Bake in a well preheated oven in air at 180 ° C for 20 minutes.
