Exciting News! My recipes found shelter in a restaurant! In a restaurant I am in love with, Zampano!
I started going to the Zampano restaurant when it first opened its doors, just before Christmas! Soon I became a regular, I met the owners, loved the food and to make the long story short, I accepted their proposal to take over the brunch menu!
We are officialy starting this Sunday so it’s a great opportunity for a yummy “meet ‘n greet” Let’s know us better over avocado toast, chicken ‘n waffles, spinach – pizza and several other recipes I created for this particular menu! The truth is that in the beginning I got stressed over how I am gonna coexist in the same kitchen with the chef but just after I met Chrysa Katakis and I realized how sweet she is I understood that we were about to start a great collaboration.
To menu is clearly Greek but with a creative twist! I decided to re-create my moms favorite recipe of chicken in tomato sauce and smashed potatoes and turn it to potato waffles with chicken and tomato sauce by the side. My classic school meal: tomato and cheese sandwich became a Blue vegetables burger and the original spinach pie met my homemade pizza recipe in one dish!.
My all time favorite avocado toast will not be missing! It’s an instagram sensation after all!
