- 1 cup coarse semolina
- 1 cup semolina
- ¾ cup sunflower oil
- 2 ½ cups sugar
- 1 cup pureed nectarines
- 3 cups water

For the decoration

- 8 nectarine slices
Directions

- Pour the sunflower oil in a large pot, let it heat up and then add both cups of semolina.
- Let it get roasted while stirring constantly with a wooden spoon until it absorbs all the oil and gets a light brown color.
- Remove the pot from the heat, add sugar, the nectarine puree and stir constantly until all ingredients are mixed.
- Add water and put back the pot on the fire.
- Stir until it absorbs all liquid and starts to peel away from the walls of the pot.
- Transfer the halva in a cake form, decorate with slices of nectarine and let it cool.
- Remove from the form and serve
