On Christmas Eve, the Kool Life Restaurant invites guests to enjoy an unforgettable Gala Dinner at Life Gallery athens. The restaurant team, headed by chef Thanos Moraitis, has created a special menu influenced by Greek cuisine, with exciting touches of international inspiration. An asparagus soup with crispy jamón Iberico and white truffle powder will initiate diners into the festive atmosphere, followed by a cool salad of baby spinach, chestnuts, Cretan graviera cheese and a pomegranate dressing. Next, an elegant dish of roasted goat’s cheese with walnuts and balsamic cream acts as the ideal overture to the show-stopping main course, where guests can choose between a turkey fillet with traditional stuffing or wild boar pot roast with Vinsanto sauce, puréed carrot, Peruvian potatoes and celeriac. The final chapter is a delightful treat of chocolate soufflé with grated cinnamon and chestnut ice cream. €70 per person.
A NEW YEAR’S EVE FILLED WITH FLAVOURS
Kool Life invites guests to celebrate the final moments of 2018 with an elegant New Years’ Eve celebration. With its festive atmosphere and plate after plate of exceptional flavours, Life Gallery athens guarantees to make 2018’s final meal a memorable one. White potato soup with caramelised onions and cubed beetroot will kick off the evening, followed by a rocket salad with smoked salmon, wakame, melon chutney and carob rusk. For the main course, choose between tender beef fillet with roasted celeriac and a peppery Metaxa sauce, or chicken fillet with cream cheese and turmeric in a Portobello mushroom nest. Rounding off the meal is a truly mouthwatering chestnut & chocolate cream mille-feuille with pieces of traditional Greek diples.
