Whoever tried this dessert could not tell whether it was vegan or not! It tastes exactly like the real thing but it’s all plant based! Perfect for your detox diet!
- 500 gr dates, seedless
- 200 gr hazelnuts, or nuts of your choice
- 3 tbsp. coconut oil
- 4 tbsp. raw cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- powdered sugar, to coat
- Start by placing the nuts in the food processor. Beat for 1 minute, until the nuts are crushed.
- Then add the remaining ingredients apart from the sugar.
- Beat for 3-4 minutes until a dough is formed.
- Form the salami with the mixture using your hands.
- Coat with the powdered sugar.
- Store in the fridge.
